Announcement of Annual Wando High School PTSO Scholarship

Please get the scholarship application from Mrs. Beaver in the Guidance Office.

These scholarships are awarded based on the following application criteria:

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Applicant must be a Wando High School student.

2. Applicant must be accepted by or enrolled in a college or post secondary institution at the time the scholarship is paid.

3. Must have taken the ACT or SAT and be able to provide a dated score report if not already reported to Wando.

4. Applicant must have completed FAFSA and have a score to report on the application

5. All sections of the application mus be completed in total.

CRITERIA:

Applications will be judged by the Wando High School PTSO Scholarship Committee members as follows:

AWARDS:

There will be two scholarships awarded at the Senior Awards Ceremony in mid-May. The two scholarships will be $1000 for each recipient. The award will be for one year and will be paid directly to the college or school upon confirmation of the recipient’s acceptance or enrollment.

All applicant information will be kept in strict confidence.

The application form may be duplicated. 

The application is to be returned to Ms. Beaver in Guidance by April 20, 2012.

DEADLINE IS FIRM FOR RECEIPT OF ALL APPLICATION MATERIALS.
