Big Bash Returns in 2009! Save the Date!! Alhambra Hall Saturday, February 28, 2009

The Big Bash is Wando PTSO’s only school-wide fundraiser.  The money raised benefits all Wando students!  We have needs in three areas: volunteers, sponsorships, & donations.

We need volunteers!  We want to utilize your special talents!  You choose what you would like to help with.

Sponsorships and Donations are a WIN/WIN opportunity!  You can utilize your advertising dollar as a charitable donation!  You will hit a super target audience of consumers right here in the Mount Pleasant area, while helping to enrich the education of the students of Wando High.

Sponsorships have 3 levels: Platinum ($700), Gold ($500), Silver ($300).  Sponsors names appear in the programs, on the Wando Web site, Newspaper, and on the big sign in the lobby of the school.

We are also in need of donations for the silent auction.  This is a great way for businesses to showcase their merchandise, products, services, & talents.  The options for donations are endless… In the past we’ve had donations of vacation rentals, clothing, jewelry, gift-certificates of all kinds, and so much more. You don’t have to own a business to donate.  Students can donate babysitting/lawn-mowing type services. What a great way to advertise!  Think about how you can help.

Teachers & Students can get in on the action, too!  Grade level groups (like 9th grade Social Studies, the Art department, etc.) can put together a basket by having their students bring in items.  How about a college team spirit contest… Bring in an item from your favorite team during spirit week, and we’ll see which team makes the biggest basket!
