Big Bash Returns in 2009!

The Wando High "Big Bash and Benefit" is returning for the 2008-2009 school year! Lauren Raycroft and Tammy Howe have very generously offered to chair the event! Save the Date!! Children's Day Festival Volunteers and Donations Needed Sunday Oct. 19

Each Year Wando High PTSO sponsors a booth at the Mount Pleasant Childrens Day Festival. The festival is Sunday, Oct. 19th from 12 - 5 pm. We need donations of 12 packs of coke, diet coke, sprite, bottled water or 24 packs of name brand chips. Donations can be dropped off at Wando in the front office, on my front porch in Hobcaw Creek Plantation at 603 Hobcaw Bluff Drive, or at Dana Loveland's house in Longpoint at 407 Rice Hope Drive by Thursday Oct. 16th. Volunteers are needed to help during the festival. Time slots are from 1-2 , 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 pm. Thank-You HSAP Volunteers!

Thanks to the 104 volunteers who helped monitor the HSAP test this year, Guidance and Mrs. Beckham say this was the smoothest HSAP testing Wando has ever seen. Thanks so much, this is a tremendous undertaking; the parents and community members who volunteered made the difference.
