The PTSO of Wando High School is pleased to announce pleased to announce its annual Wando High School PTSO Scholarship Award winners. Jonathan Berthiaume and Eric Powers are the winners of the two $1000 2009 scholarships. Jonathan will be attending McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and Eric Powers will be attending Georgia Tech. Congratulations Eric and Jonathan!

These scholarships were awarded based on the following application criteria:  

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Applicant must be a Wando High School student.

2. Applicant must be accepted by or enrolled in a college or post secondary institution at the time the scholarship is paid.

3. Must have taken the ACT or SAT.

CRITERIA: 

Applications will be judged by the Wando High School PTSO Scholarship Committee members as follows:

There will be two scholarships awarded this calendar year. The two scholarships will be $1000 for each student. The award will be for one year and will be paid directly to the college or school upon confirmation of the applicant’s acceptance or enrollment.  The application form may be duplicated.  The application is to be returned to Ms. Lauren Hatley in Guidance by May 1st, 2009.

DEADLINE IS FIRM FOR RECEIPT FOR ALL APPLICATION MATERIALS!

Recipient will be announced at the Senior Awards Ceremony.
