Business Information Systems

Greetings from the School of Business and Information Systems!

The School of Business and Information Systems is designed to focus students' coursework toward those classes that will best prepare them for a future career in business related fields, including Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, Hospitality & Tourism, Information Technology, Marketing, and Sales & Services. National research has clearly demonstrated that students achieve greater levels of success academically if they understand the relevance of what they are studying, more clearly focus their academic experience, and establish more meaningful relationships with adults who can mentor them through their course experience. In an effort to better prepare the students being taught, Wando High School has designed rigorous coursework that we believe prepares the students well for careers in Business and Information Systems. Additionally, this coursework has been designed to compliment collegiate coursework in related fields. As students progresses through their major here at Wando, it is our goal to provide an education that is academically challenging, vocationally focused, and personally fulfilling. Participation in the School of Business and Information Systems will achieve all of these objectives for our students.
