Check out our Project Lead the Way Presentation! Greetings from the School of Math, Science, and Engineering!
In 2006-07, the Math, Science, and Engineering School had the theme of “bridges” as we welcomed the new Ravenel Bridge to our community. For the 2007-08 school years at Wando High, the School of Math, Science, and Engineering used the theme of “boats” in honor of the Spirit of South Carolina, a magnificent tall ship! For 2008-09, MSE had the theme of baseball, tying lessons to history, math, physics, and the River Dogs. This year, MSE has chosen Alternative Energy as our theme, “Think Green, Think Success.” Teachers in MSE will use a variety of references, activities and labs which relate to our alternative energy theme throughout the year while incorporating how each course relates to specific clusters and majors.
