Wando High School

I graduated from Beaufort High School in 1994. Just like most teenagers, I was not sure what I was going to do with the rest of my life. I enrolled in USC Beaufort where I studied Psychology and Pre-med for 3 years. I moved to Charleston in 1998 to continue my education at The College of Charleston. I graduated with a BA in Chemistry in 2002. In 2010, I graduated from The Citadel with a MA in Biology in 2010.

During my college years I worked part-time for Charleston Co. EMS. I also owned an emergency training company. I taught industrial workers many different emergency medical courses over a 4 year period.

In the summer of 2005, I enrolled in the state PACE program and became a certified teacher. I started at Wando in August of 2005. Currently, I teach for the CTE and Science Departments.
